eastprospect: Linda Sheets

Linda Sheets has been creating art, in one form or another, for most of her life. While her style is truly her own, her collages, free-form furniture, and found object constructions are reminiscent of Joseph Cornell and Louise Nevelson, with a healthy dash of folk art aesthetic. But it is her innovative approach to scratchboard as a medium that has set Linda in a class all her own. Her work can be seen in galleries, shows, and private collections around the country and was recently used to decorate the walls of the main characters home in the ABC drama The Lying Game.
